This Giving Tuesday we are highlighting initiatives that define what it means to be Anselmian. By giving to one or more of these causes, you help sustain our dedication to the College’s Catholic and Benedictine mission, empowering students and strengthening our Hilltop community.
Anselmian B.R.E.A.K.
Benedictine, Reflection, Education, Advocacy, and Kinship
Formerly known as Service & Solidarity and sponsored by the Office of Campus Ministry, Anselmian B.R.E.A.K. engages Saint Anselm students in social justice education, relationship building, and advocacy through the lens of our Benedictine identity. Its mission is to educate students to recognize the innate dignity of every person and our shared common humanity.
Anselmian B.R.E.A.K. experiences include:
Kathleen (Mulcahy) Miskell '06 Endowed Memorial Fund
Supporting Anselmian B.R.E.A.K.
Kathleen gave selflessly to the Service & Solidarity Missions program, participating in trips to Habitat for Humanity in Jacksonville, FL, and Nuestros Pequeños Hermanos Orphanage in Honduras. After her passing, her family established this scholarship to support future Anselmians seeking transformative mission experiences like the ones Kathleen cherished.
The Meelia Center for Community Engagement's Access Academy Program
Access Academy is an after-school academic program serving Manchester high school students, especially those underrepresented in higher education (e.g., low income, first generation).
The Meelia Center partners with more than 50 local nonprofits, engaging over 150 student volunteers and nearly 250 service learners each week. Each semester, nearly 10 percent of the student body participates in service learning through the Meelia Center.
The Anselmian Success Grant Fund
The Anselmian Success Grant Fund helps students overcome unexpected financial barriers that could prevent them from thriving at Saint Anselm College. Grants support currently enrolled undergraduates with academic needs, degree completion, wellness, emergency transportation, and access to co-curricular opportunities. The Anselmian Success Grant Fund ensures every student has the resources to succeed and fully participate in life on the Hilltop.
